How Signals Work

Swing Ranger continuously scans price action, volatility, and momentum across your selected timeframe. When a strategy detects a valid setup, it generates a BUY or SELL signal and automatically calculates four critical price levels:

- Entry Price - The optimal price to enter the trade based on the strategy's logic

- Stop Loss (SL) - A protective level calculated to limit downside risk while giving the trade room to develop

- Target 1 (TGT-1) - Conservative profit target for partial position booking

- Target 2 (TGT-2) - Extended profit target for maximum gain potential

Each strategy uses its own calculation methodology for these levels based on market structure, volatility ranges, and risk/reward optimization. The levels are displayed both on the dashboard panel and as dotted lines directly on your chart for instant visual reference.

When a BUY signal is generated:

- A green upward arrow appears below the signal candle

- The dashboard switches to a green theme

- Entry, SL, TGT-1, and TGT-2 prices are displayed in the BUY section

- Trade status shows "BUY: WAITING" until entry is confirmed

When a SELL signal is generated:

- A red downward arrow appears above the signal candle

- The dashboard switches to a red theme

- Entry, SL, TGT-1, and TGT-2 prices are displayed in the SELL section

- Trade status shows "SELL: WAITING" until entry is confirmed

As price moves and targets are hit, the status updates in real time: "ACTIVE" - "TGT-1 HIT" - "TGT-2 HIT" or "SL HIT".

Real-Time Trading Dashboard

The Swing Ranger dashboard is your command center for intraday trading. It provides complete situational awareness with all essential information displayed in a clean, organized panel:

Top Section:

- Symbol name and current price (updates live)

- Five action buttons: Buy | Sell | Dark | Cndl | OPT

- Active strategy indicator (e.g., "1 - Crafter", "3 - Sentinel")

Signal Sections:

- BUY Section - Shows Entry, TGT-1, TGT-2, and SL for buy signals

- SELL Section - Shows Entry, TGT-1, TGT-2, and SL for sell signals

- Visual tick marks (-) appear next to targets when they are hit

Trade Status:

- "BUY: WAITING" / "SELL: WAITING" - Signal generated, entry not yet confirmed

- "BUY: ACTIVE" / "SELL: ACTIVE" - Trade is live and being tracked

- "BUY: TGT-1 HIT" / "SELL: TGT-1 HIT" - First profit target reached

Strategy Selector:

Three clickable buttons at the bottom allow instant switching between strategy profiles:

- Sentinel - Activates conservative strategies (1, 2, or 3)

- Resistor - Activates balanced strategies (1, 2, or 3)

- Crafter - Activates aggressive strategies (1, 2, or 3)

The selected strategy is highlighted with a blue background. All other strategies remain accessible with a single click.

Options Strike Price Integration (OPT Button)

Swing Ranger includes a groundbreaking feature for options traders: the OPT (Options) button. When clicked, if options data is available for the current symbol, Swing Ranger displays a comprehensive options chain panel showing:

CALL OPTIONS:

- Strike prices

- LTP (Last Traded Price)

- Entry levels

- Target (TGT)

- Stop Loss (SL)

- MaxH (Maximum High)

PUT OPTIONS:

- Same parameters as Call Options for the opposite direction

The options panel integrates seamlessly with the main signal system. When a BUY signal is generated on the underlying instrument, the panel highlights relevant Call strike prices. When a SELL signal appears, relevant Put strikes are highlighted. This allows you to:

1. Trade options instead of (or alongside) the underlying instrument

2. Compare risk/reward profiles across multiple strikes

3. Select optimal option contracts based on your capital and risk tolerance

4. Track real-time option premiums alongside the underlying chart

The OPT feature is only active when options data is available for your symbol (typically equity stocks, indices). For forex and commodities without options data, the button remains disabled.

On-Chart Visual Markers

Swing Ranger draws all trade levels directly on your chart with clearly labeled dotted lines:

- Entry Line - Shows the exact entry price with "BUY @ price" or "SELL @ price" label

- Stop Loss Line - Marked with "STOP-LOSS (price)" label

- Target 1 Line - Marked with "TARGET 1 (price)" label

- Target 2 Line - Marked with "TARGET 2 (price)" label

Each line is color-coded: green for buy levels, red for sell levels. This visual system lets you see at a glance where your trade stands relative to your targets and stop - no need to constantly check the dashboard.

When a target is hit, a tick mark (-) appears both on the dashboard and as a visual marker on the chart, confirming the event.

Alert & Notification System

Never miss a trading opportunity or key trade event. Swing Ranger provides real-time alerts through multiple channels:

How to Trade with Swing Ranger

Step 1: Attach Swing Ranger to your chart on any intraday timeframe (M1, M5, M15, M30, H1). The indicator works on all instruments: stocks, indices, forex, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.

Step 2: Select your preferred strategy profile using the buttons at the bottom of the dashboard: Sentinel (conservative), Resistor (balanced), or Crafter (aggressive). Start with Strategy 1 within your chosen profile.

Step 3: Wait for a BUY or SELL arrow to appear on the chart. The dashboard will immediately populate with Entry, SL, TGT-1, and TGT-2 prices.

Step 4: Enter the trade at the displayed entry price. Set your stop loss exactly as shown. Set your first take-profit order at Target 1 and your second at Target 2.

Step 5: Monitor the trade status on the dashboard. When the status changes to "TGT-1 HIT", consider booking partial profits (50-60% of your position). Let the remaining portion run toward Target 2 for maximum gains.

Step 6: If trading options, click the OPT button to view the options chain. Select a strike price that aligns with your entry level and target. The panel shows suggested strikes with their corresponding entry, target, and stop levels.

Advanced Technique - Multi-Strategy Confirmation:

For highest-probability setups, compare signals across multiple strategies. When two or three strategies from different profiles generate the same signal direction simultaneously, you have a stronger, more reliable setup with higher conviction.

Intraday Focus & Expiration

Swing Ranger is designed exclusively for intraday trading - all signals, targets, and stop levels are optimized for completion within the same trading day. The indicator tracks session expiry and resets signal logic at the start of each new session, ensuring you're always working with fresh, current market data.

Some strategies include an expiration timer (visible on the dashboard as "Exp: 5 Sep (33 days)" in the screenshot examples), indicating when a particular signal calculation period ends. This helps you prioritize active setups and avoid stale signals.

Color-Coded Interface

The dashboard uses intelligent color theming for instant visual recognition:

- Green theme - Active BUY signal, bullish bias

- Red theme - Active SELL signal, bearish bias

- Dark/neutral theme - No active signal, standby mode

Chart candles can also be color-coded (controlled by the "Cndl" button):

- Dark green candles during active BUY trades

- Maroon/red candles during active SELL trades

- Standard candles in neutral periods
